Sadly, a lotta folks are dealing with serious "humbug" this season.

True ! But how I look at it is any day you get to spend with your family and friends is a Great Day. It's not all financial (Buying Presents),It's the Christmas Spirit !

Some friends of ours, older couple, got to experience a little ironic joy this year. Their son and daughter in law, who have both been out of work for several months decided to use their limited xmas funds to pack the family up and make the 12 hour one way drive home for the holidays, unannounced! When i stopped over to see them yesterday, the "Christmas" was oozing out of every nook and cranny of that house.
I wish everyone had the gift of being able to set aside the pressures and worries of everyday life long enough to enjoy what's still going on in that house right now.
And don't worry AB, there was little in the way of humbug here personally, especially after i started slicing that USDA Prime that i roasted for dinner. The family unanimously agreed that it'd put the prime rib at the best steak houses to shame.

See to me that is what it really means for Christmas.It's one day a year that should be enjoyed and celebrated for everyone.All faiths whether it's Christmas/Hanukkah or whatever.

I didn't have time to be online yesterday--hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and wishing everyone the best holiday season and New Year!
